On May 20th we drove to visit friends in Virginia.  The next day they graciously took us on a tour of the Skyline Drive.  These are photo's of that day.  All these were shot using my Canon PowerShot A60.  I took 174 pictures which I boiled down to about two dozen that you'll see here.

The Skyline drive goes from Virginia all the way to Georgia.  We did not travel all the way to Georgia.  It was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1931 and 1939.  For the most part the speed limit is 35 mph.  This is a view from one of the many overlooks back at the road that snakes throughout the park.

The music you're hearing is from a CD that Karol bought at one of the stops.  It's called The Sounds of Shenandoah.  If you're on dial-up I hope it works OK.
