The Israelis are withdrawing from Gaza. Many people are saying this is good. To my thinking Sharon did this as a military maneuver. He is withdrawing to defensible borders.
I don’t expect the Palestinians to become passive. I expect just the opposite. I expect the Palestinians to become encouraged by this. They will feel all their suicide killers will have been effective.
I expect them to take over Gaza and attack Israel with even more enthusiasm than in the past. I don’t expect them to stop until Israel no longer exists.
