A blogger in The Netherlands has started a PhotoShop contest in which the participants create parodies of Mohammed.
I'd like to know how they know what Mohammed looked like.
Posted by The Vorlon at February 4, 2006 10:58 AMMy husband, Dave & I are good friends of your parents. So, we just wanted you to know now that we are computerized, we will be keeping current with your updates. And, always praying for the day to be good. I have endured some health issues, and like you, I believe our determination, spirit and love of God help us through these toughest of challenges.
Remember, you are in our prayers each day as you battle the ravages of cancer. We wish you a good day.

Posted by: Ted at February 4, 2006 2:39 PMWe made a point to tell our Danish/Polish exchange student about the recent activities in his homeland. He replied that the Danish take great pride in their free speach for radio and newspapers.
But when he heard about the torched Danish embassies and the departure of certain ambassadors from Denmark, he promply announced that from here on, we were to refer to him as our "Polish" exchange student. He is very glad he is stuck in america right now and not in Copenhagen.
I need to ask him what his Muslims friends back in Denmark think about all this.
Posted by: KATHY at February 6, 2006 11:53 AMThat's understandable, but a little disappointing. The motto I have seen lately is, "We are all Danes now."
