Not much, pain today, except for my feet. I’m just real tired and food is still a little iffy. Some things taste good and some don’t. I find it rather difficult to predict whether or not I can eat something.
Either way, I’m wiped and off to bed.
Posted by The Vorlon at May 13, 2006 8:49 PMDear Ted,
It's been a tough week for you with news and new treatments and food not tasting good, and feet numb. But, better days are coming for you. I know you still have another treatment this week and then Neulasta, but when that is completed, I feel you will begin to have some better days. Stay strong Ted. It's not easy with all you must endure, but I pray that you can come back fightin' for all you're worth. I have mistakenly thought Neulasta was to help with your nausea, etc., but I must be wrong from what you are writing about the impact of it on your body.
I have learned to deal with my pain and health burdens so much better since I began reading your blog. Your intelligence and spirit and love of God have lifted me more than a few times, and I feel so thankful that your mom and dad shared your blog site with me.
Keep on being the Vorlon that you are, and we will keep right on standing with you through your Vorlon battles.
May God grant you a calm and peaceful week.
Sincerely, Dave & Ruth Berlien
Since the chemo knocks my white blood cell count down, the Neulasta is to boost it back up again.
Thank you for all your gracious and kind comments.
