They have postponed my chemo today. When they tested my blood, they found my white cell count was extremely low. In the past, my white cell count bounced between 4 and 14. This morning it was one.
That’s scary.
They are going to be giving me a white cell booster called Neupogen. I will get an injection each day over the next five days and have my chemo on Monday.
I am staying home for the next few days to ensure I don’t run across someone that could be sick as I have very little resistance to disease.

I am very sorry you are going through this awlful times and pain. Mike white count was down before one of his chemo's and they postponed his too. They gave him a shot and his family doctor gave him some pills for 5 days. He started to feel better. He still complains his feet feel like they are round because of the numbness. Keeping up with your progress I could sit and cry too! You in all of our prayers to get better.
On the brighter side Mike is clear as per his PET Scan hooray! Hooray!
I hope this new Chemo will knock that tumor out of the ball park!!!!!!!!!!
Miss you
Doris
Thank you Doris for your comforting words to Ted.
We can imagine the happyness you have in the apparent progress Mike has had in beating cancer.
Miracles do Happen.
