OK, I’ve decided to stay home again today. It just takes too much effort to walk across the room. I really need a nap right now.
Posted by The Vorlon at June 9, 2006 8:50 AMGood morning Ted!
You're tiredness COULD (emphasis on could!) be because your body is fighting of something, maybe a cold, whatever, that is unrelated to the chemo. That would explain the high white blood count. There are times when, as frustrating as it is, just giving in, staying in bed or not moving is the best course of valor - - - of course, sometimes your body doesn't give you a choice. Trying to power through it isn't always the best thing for your body. It just gives your body more work to do. Some of us hardheads don't always listen to what our bodies are telling us. (yup, I'm in that group!) Go to bed, take a nap, read a good book!! :-))) Most of all - --- Feel Better!!!

Posted by: at June 9, 2006 10:47 AMThank you. My temperature is normal so I don't think I'm being attacked. I'm pretty sure my high white cell count is from the Neulasta shot.
I'm afraid reading is a little tough, I find sleeping better.
Posted by: Ted at June 9, 2006 10:57 AMGood morning Ted,
The good and the bad. The good is that the flowers you have posted are so lovely and we enjoy them so much. The bad is that you're so wiped out right now. So very sorry about that, but Nora's advice is very good - just rest and we'll pray that you are feeling better soon.
Hope you and Karol have a good weekend. Ruth
