June 28 Final Update

I’m feeling pretty tired tonight. I did OK today – better than yesterday, but still not as good as Monday. Perhaps Monday just wore me down a bit. Anyway, I’m off to bed.

Here’s bible quote I thought you would find interesting. I find that having, as much faith as Jesus says to have is difficult to do. We have a pastor that preaches at our church on occasion that in remission from prostate cancer. He has the faith that I wish I had. By the way, his last PSA test came out at one. He told his oncologist that would happen.

And when they came to the crowd, a man came up to him and, kneeling before him, said, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and he suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water. And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him." And Jesus answered, "O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me." And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."

Matthew 17:14

We have faith you will be healed as Jesus healed the stricken.
Mom and I know, because you grew up in a family that had a strong Faith in God's power to heal.

I've gotten a bit behind in reading your blog messages because my brother and wife were visiting us for 5 days, which we always enjoy so much, but I'm slower than I used to be, and wasn't able to keep up with my computer.

However, I was so glad to see the verse you included from Matthew 17:14. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.

Isn't that powerful faith? We do forget sometimes when we're in the midst of pain and treatments that our loving and powerful God is always there with us. All we need to do is reach out and put our concerns in His hands, and KNOW that nothing is impossible for HIM.

It just solidified my faith once again and I believe with all my heart that God is with you in your courageous battle and is asking you to reach out and trust HIM and he will heal you Ted.
I so firmly believe Matthew 17:14. Reach out and trust. He's just waiting for us to give up our feeling of control over our situations.

Oh, the power of having faith like a grain of mustard seed. Thank you Lord Jesus.

As I mentioned, I have been missing keeping up with your daily messages, and what a joy it was for me to read the beautiful message. I really needed that message too. So thank you from me for the beautiful reminder from God.

And, my simple prayer for you is to continue your lovely gift of faith and trust that God will heal Ted Armstrong. He will.
