The animal shelter called today. Is seems no one as claimed the little guy and our application has been approved.
They want to make sure he’s had all his shots and such, then we can go get him. They close at 4:00 pm on Friday, so we’ll go get him on Saturday.

He'll be so happy once he gets used to being treated so kindly everyday. Maybe, he hasn't been used to kindness. I'll be anxious to see the pictures you take of him.
And, I'm so sorry that chemo is such a love/hate medicine. You can't really live without it, but it sure does hammer away at every part of your body it seems like. And, as they told you, you've had so much chemo go into your system, it just plays havoc with your system. And, yet, at this point, I still have to say that I'm thankful you have had this chance to have the treatments, although I would sooo much rather that you were just your "old normal self". Praying for a better day tomorrow, and again congrats on your new puppy. That will take some getting used to for sure (for puppy too).
