I did not get chemo’d today. It turns out me blood counts were too low. I wound up in the hospital again only as an outpatient getting a unit of red cells. On Monday, I go back for another unit of red cells.
I’m feeling very tired tonight. Going up the stairs tonight was not easy and I would not have made it would the Vorlon Wife’s help.
Now I’m off to bed and wish a fine good night.

Posted by: Mauricio at December 15, 2006 8:57 PMDear Ted & Karol,
I know that the stair climbing has been difficult for you since you came home from the hospital. I was wondering if there is a possibility of having your bed moved to a downstairs area? Certainly, it sounds like a great undertaking. But, as my young granddaughter often reminds me - "think outside the box Grandma". I believe that with all the people who care so very much for you, there would be many who would be happy to help with this. This has become a burden for you Ted, and I can imagine that Karol worries about you trying to maneuver the stairway too. Please think about this. It just might abate some of the concerns for both of you.
I'm thankful you received a unit of blood, and will receive more. And, so hoping it helps you feel better soon.
I will be offering a special prayer this evening for both you and Karol. Lord, please hear my prayer. And, a special thank you to your dear wife for her loving devotion for you Ted. She is a fine woman, and I know, we, your devoted followers, are so grateful to her. Praying very much that you will begin to feel your strength returning soon. God Bless You Both. I am offering a very special prayer for you and Karol this evening. Lord, please hear my prayer. God's blessing dear people. Your devoted friend, Ruth
Posted by: Ruth Berlien at December 15, 2006 9:47 PMOops. Looks like I repeated myself in my posting. Forgive me, for I am getting a bit daffy in my old age at times. As a matter of fact, it happens a few more times than I like. But, whatcha gonna' do? Your OLD devoted friend, Ruth
Posted by: Ruth Berlien at December 15, 2006 9:54 PMThe units of build will really help build your strength back up. That will be good for you. Does Danny Boy stay with you or does he go upstairs?
Posted by: Reb Orrell at December 16, 2006 6:51 AMRuth,
prayers can be repeated as often as you want.
We had been sleeping on the sofa bed for a week. Ted wanted to go up to his bed and his computer.
