I spent most of today resting. This afternoon the pastor came by to visit. I was concerned about Danny being friendly towards him. Danny was barking like he wanted to take the pastor’s leg off.
When he was close enough, the pastor just grabbed the dog. At that instant Danny quieted down. I was afraid Danny was going to sink his teeth into the Pastor’s hand. Instead he let the pastor hold him and seemed to enjoy the experience. He didn’t bark one time more, while he was here. My dog book says to give the dog more room to make him less aggressive.
I was very pleasantly surprised.
I’m off to bed.
Posted by The Vorlon at December 23, 2006 7:18 PMI bet that really made your heart beat a little faster when the pastor snatched Danny Boy up. I really think the pastor took quite a chance of possibly getting some teeth marks in his hand. I wouldn't have thought Danny would have let him do that, but I'm sure glad it worked out that way. I guess pets are a lot like kids, you never quite know what they're going to do. Sometimes you're thrilled with their behavior and other times you do your vey best to act as if you never saw those poorly behaved children before!!
I so hope you get to feeling better before you have to start another chemo treatment. Just keep on doing what you can do and rest as much as you need to. We're so thankful that you're taking the time to let us hear from you everyday. You're a loyal friend to all of us. And, of course, prayers are always being said for you all over the world. God knows your name is going to come to his attention many many times everyday. He is standing vigil over you, and we must trust Him to care for you during these tough days. May Our Lord Bless and Keep You Ted. A loyal Michigan friend, Ruth

It was a heart warming event. Good goin Danny Boy.
Keep up the Good work. love you
Dear Ted & Karol,
