The Vorlon labored with his breathing today. Although he seemed tired, he did not sleep.

After calling hospice and telling them I was disappointed with there service, the building manager at our office called and her boss wanted me out by the end of the week. I was really ticked. We were the only company that paid our rent on time.

Nora and I went to the office taking two cars so we could load all the stuff. Some stuff came home and some went to the storage bin. We had to go through filing cabinets and desks, shredding document that had credit card numbers of our clients. I still have two more file cabinets to go through.

I still have to move some shelves home and some to the storage bins. I have to do something with the copy machine and the telephones. Then decide what gets donated to a charity and/or what gets sold.

We took the stuff to the storage bin and I had a hard time opening it. I need to take a hammer and chisel to get the latch open. I used my tire iron today.

I have some banking to take care of and hopefully that should take care of the business.

Returning home, the visiting nurse and home health aide had been there. They brought the supplies. I’m still waiting on the equipment. Ted really needs an air mattress. He is getting bedsores. I hope it comes tomorrow.

Well, I am exhausted so I’ll be calling it a night.

Hi Karol,I was sad to hear that you had such a tough day.I don't understand people anymore. They are so inconderiate and tht's putting it mildly. Sorry to hear that Hospice is not coming through as you expected.(it's shocking) I'm saddend to hear that Ted is having a rough time... My prayers are with you both, and also to touch the hearts of people to give them understanding and help you through these tough times. You are both such good people! Karol, Even though we talked last night - after reading of your rough day Monday, it reminded me of the things that aggrivated Jim's family as they went thru this with their mom and brother. The inconsiderate are not worth the aggravation, it just tears away at your strength. Their actions will be on their conscious. The Lord is with you to give you strength and get you thru this. There is not too many of us that could do everything that you are doing right now. Just keep focusing on Ted's comfort and your rest - that's all that's important right now. ps You can deligate those nasty calls to me to make for you, when I get there Saturday. Our prayers are with you, Naomi

Well, I guess we have proof positive that the Grinch is alive and well. It's nearly impossible to believe that the office manager has added this extra burden to your life at this time. I'm sure he knows full well what you have been faced with. I'm not usually a vengeful person, but, I feel I can say this with good conscience "what goes around comes around". Negative thinking isn't helpful to you though - so, I will say a prayer of thanks to you for (in spite of the turmoil) being able to keep us informed about Ted's condition and your plight of several things that are pulling at you very hard right now. It gives us a chance to ask God for mercy during this test of endurance. I am so saddened to hear that Hospice isn't performing too well. My family has had to ask help from Hospice twice and both times, we were treated so well, and everything was prompt and done with such loving care. Our loving wishes to Ted for his continued valiant efforts to fight this cruel beast. It certainly tells a lot about what kind of a man he has always been. God Bless you both and all those that continue to stand with you now. A caring friend, Ruth
