We were up and out early. We had a lot of things to do. My friends from church came at 10:00 to look at the car again. Bob liked it at first glance. Ethan drove it out to Route 55 to try it out on the highway. Both seemed very pleased with it and will give me a deposit tomorrow.
I looked through all my files to find the records for Dasher 1. Ethan had a question about whether the timing belt had been replaced. I found the paperwork and the timing belt had indeed been replaced. I called Ethan and he was pleased
I trimmed the Irish junipers and the Alberto spruces. I took some more photos of my flowers. I hope I will be able to post them. I'm having a problem with learning the software. I seem to be doing something wrong. It's a very difficult process locating the photos I want to put into the image composer. Then when I change the pixel width, it doesn't stay changed.
I tried cropping the photo in print shop and was successful at that but I'm trying to learn too much at once. I was unable to upload the photo of Danny Boy and it is a mess in the image composer. I don't know how to undue what ever I did.
I gave Danny a bath today. I have been afraid to give him one because of his ear problem. It was a very nice day so I put him out on his leas and he dug in the yard and rolled around in the dirt. He was having a good time rolling his face in the dirt and rolling around on his back. I figured I'd give him a bath after that. He tolerates bath but does not like it. He is bright white and silky now.
I'm going to do Danny's ears and put in my movie. I'll walk him one more time and then off to bed.
News from the Vorlon Wife.
Email me the photo of Danny Boy and I'll get it ready for the blog.
Posted by: Reb Orrell at April 22, 2007 12:18 AMHi Karol, I'm just curious. On my computer, when I look at your blog, I no longer have the sidebar on the right hand side of my screen. The sidebar used to include the section that showed who had commented on your daily blog, and it also had several years of information of Ted's blog entries. I used to enjoy going back and looking through some of the entries he had done. Is it just my computer, or did you mean for that section to be removed from view?
I know you've been having some problems doing some of the photos, etc., so I thought maybe the removal of that was unintentional. Then again, maybe you chose to have it gone. I just wanted to let you know I miss that part, but, of course, if you choose not to have it anymore, that is certainly your choice. My question is actually more of a wonder if I did something wrong so that part doesn't show on my computer any longer.
I bet it is frustrating to you Karol to have to struggle with the photo postings, etc. You probably just never believed you would need to know all that. Ted had a knack for anything with computers, so I'm sure you just thought well, that's great, that will be his job. I think I mentioned in an earlier comment about how lost my mother was when my dad died very suddenly and she hadn't learned enough about taking care of things. In fact, my dear father even said when he was near dying, "I just don't feel your mother is ready for all this responsibility". And, she certainly wasn't, but eventually, she kept learning until she finally could do most everything. Dad would have been very proud of her, as was I. She lived for exactly 30 more years than dad, and she did very well, after those horrible days and weeks of grief.
So, you need to remember to be very fair to yourself about what you are accomplishing each day. It's a lot Karol.
That's good news about the young man liking Dasher 1. That will be another accomplishment to add to your credit column. Good job!!
Thinking of you and wishing you the best always, Ruth
Hi Ruth,
On my computer, the removal of the left side was temporary. It is OK now. When I went to post the Cropped photo of Danny Boy, I did something wrong and the photo went onto the left side and took away everything that was there. My cousin, Reb, said he would fix it. I depend on Reb to help me out with computer problems. He has been wonderful.
