Today, I drove Dasher 1 for the last time. The Vorlon car went to its new home. I felt good about the car going to a good home.
I did some errands today. I had to go to the former office and make a copy. I went to the bank to change Dodecahedron's address and go to the ATM. I dropped some food and treats off at the SPCA. Things that Danny won't eat. He's very particular.
I just did his ears. He tried to run away. He buries his head in my lap and shakes his head so I can't get at his ears. I am still able to get the job done. He ran away from me, shook his ears and then came back. He likes to lie beside me or on top of me. He doesn't like me to type because I'm not paying attention to him.
I went to my Grief Support group tonight. It is a big help to me. It helps to talk with other people who are suffering a loss, too. We share things that maybe others can not understand.
It was hard looking at the empty space in the garage. It was like the empty space in my heart.
News from the Vorlon Wife.
Hi Karol,
I'm happy that you were able to sell the car to someone you know will take care of it and enjoy it. I imagine it is very difficult to see the empty space in the garage. You made a nice analogy with the empty space in the garage being akin to the empty space you have in your heart. Bless you for continuing so beautifully on your healing journey.
The pic of the backyard is so beautiful and peaceful. You're doing a fantastic job of loading your photos for us to enjoy. Thanks!!
Thinking of you. Ruth

Happy Birthday a day early! It might not be as Happy as the last one but hopefully they will get easier for you to celebrate. The photo of the yard is very good - you can see all of your hard work that you have done. You are doing very well on your journey - I am keeping you in my prayers that he will comfort you on your long journey. Take care and keep writing your blog we all enjoy it very much.
In Gods love
Doris
What a touching analogy about the empty space in your garage and heart. Obviously, that adorable little Danny Boy is quite atached to you, So sweet. The yard photos are lovely. Would love to see more pix of Danny Boy, too.
