I’m blogging early today. I awoke at 1:30 last night. I felt dizzy and nauseous. Danny got up to and wanted out. I took him out to the tree and then came back to bed hoping I’d feel better in the morning. No such luck. I dragged myself to work and felt pretty cruddy. I called and made an appointment with the doctor for that afternoon. My allergies were acting up as it is a bad pollen year. He said to get some Claritin over the counter. He also gave me some prescriptions for blood work and so forth.

Ted’s client called to see how I was doing. It is so thoughtful of him to think of me. I thought I’d blog early and get to bed early.

Hi Karol.

I'm so sorry you're feeling icky! I have heard others saying they are having trouble with all the pollen this year. Sure hope you begin to feel better FAST. Danny Boy probably doesn't understand why you're not going on your regular walk. Just quietly remind him that he didn't feel too good the other night and made you do a mountain of laundry. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you Karol.

I have no doubt you do make some of the others laugh during your grief support group. There are days when your life is a bit funny. And, the way you write it has made me laugh too. In the face of grief, you have encountered a mountain of problems to deal with. And, I guess it's better to laugh at some of it rather than cry. Although, I'm sure you've cried plenty too. It might be funny after some of your "bumps in the road" are over, but, at the time, they can seem just overwhelming. You are doing great Karol Armstrong. And, it just lifted my spirit to hear you tell about getting some laughs at your meeting. As I've mentioned before, you absolutely could write a book.

Oh, by the way. how great that you were ale to start your mower. I bet you could hardly believe it. I think you had an angel watching over you that day - don't you??

You Go Girl. Just keep keeping on. You're awesome and you bring joy to so many others - including me for sure. Ruth

Yea, this season is really bad with the pollen. I never had allergies until a few years ago. Now they get worse each year. Just one more little aggitation of aging.

Now that you were able to get the mower started, check off one more talent on your long roster.

I do hope the work situation improves. Not being busy makes for a long day. BTW, we let Mary Ann go on Friday and her replacement started Monday. So far, so good.
