I weeded the east side this morning. I was making good time until a neighbor was walking by and stopped to chat. She is elderly and very lonely and talks for hours. I completed the east side and now Danny is ready to walk. I cut some moldings for my access hole in the spare bedroom. It goes out over the front porch and the wiring is in there for the porch fans and lights. The computer wiring is also in there. The hole was never finished. I had put a little curtain over it. Now I cut a piece of poster backing and covered it with wallpaper to match the room. The molding will hold it in place.
I walked Danny around the block and now he is lying on the bed curled up. I have a few more irises to put on the blog but it is lily time. I have flame red lilies blooming and the yellow Stella Dora lilies are blooming. The mauve lilies are about to pop open and so are the many others. I’ll start lily blogging.
