An impatien that self seeded from last year is growing out of the joint in the curb.

Posted by: Phyllis at July 19, 2008 2:26 PMThese are watered every other morning for 4 hours. They seem to dry out quickly. Ted used to water them at night for 2 hours but I have trouble figuring out the time for two different time periods. They seem to do all right with just one watering. They also get watered when I do the grass.
Posted by: Karol at July 20, 2008 9:25 AMHi Karol, Beauty is found in the the most unlikely places sometimes. Impatiens usually need some shade and there is that little beauty growing right at the curb which probably gets lots of sunshine. I think it is reminding us to be sure to see ALL of the beauty which surrounds us, not just the obvious.
Hope you're having a somewhat relaxing weekend. Ruth
