I don't have much to report today. I went to church and then to lunch with my friends. Lola is still sick but is gaining strength. She had the flu. It really knocked her for a loop. Edna also had the flu, recovered and then came down with bronchitis. Good news is that Phyllis was out to church today. It was the first time since her accident in late December.

I had the broiled crab today. I got the lunch portion so only one crab. It was good but I had no take home box.

I updated my To Do list and typed up a recipe for A&P Spanish Bar Cake that I found on the internet. I will send it to my sister-in-law. My brother likes it real well, as do I.It doesn't look too hard to make. Maybe I'll make it and take to the Nature Club. I have the refreshments this month.

I made a slide show of my flowers blooming around the house but I haven't figured out how to post it on the blog or how to post a link. I'll have to study it some more.

Dear Karol, I didn't realize that you could find that receipe on-line. It was one of my favorites as a child. Guess you still haven't heard about the job. I check the posting about four times a week. Have you gotten your medicare card. It comes 3 months before your 65 birthday. I got mine this week. What a relief. I wanted to make sure I got it before they started to change the system. Have you put your papers in for social security? At least you will have health insurance for a reasonable price. Think of you often. Affectionately, Cheryl

Hi Karol,

Love's Labours Lost is believed to have been written in the mid-1590's and first published in 1598. It was adapted as a musical film featuring Kenneth Branagh in 2000. This is from Wikipedia. Our history lesson for today children. Ruth

Thanks for letting me know the date. It is by William Shakespear but an adaptation with music from the 1930's. The DVD usually had the date on it but this one did not. It may have been in the credits when I played it but I skipped by them.
