A replica of the Kalmar Nyckel that my ancestors came over on in 1638. It is Delaware's tall ship. It is docked at Fort Christiana in Wilmington, DE. The crew and maintenance workers are preparing it for summer cruises.
Posted by tedkarol at April 21, 2012 6:58 AMHi Karol, The ship is so lovely. I am thinking you might like to take a cruise on it because your ancestors came to America on this mighty ship. You are so fortunate to know so much about the history of your ancestors.
I'm so happy that Erin found a job. That is such a struggle for so many people. We have a man at church with a wife and 3 teenagers and he is heading into his 3rd year without work. Michigan has suffered such a blow in the world of unemployment. It's hard to imagine when this will end. Congrats to Erin. Ruth
