It rained off and on today. We got about 3 tenths of an inch. We need more. I didn't do much. I had a headache. This afternoon, I drove over to the Food Lion in Middletown to get a few things. They had ground chuck and chicken breasts on sale. I got the ground meat but they were out of chicken breasts. I ran the bell but the butcher shop was closed up and they had all gone home. I guess another trip is needed to the Food Lion. I'll be needing the chicken for Danny.

Posted by tedkarol at August 28, 2012 6:10 AMI will keep Betty in my prayers. As a matter of fact, I will ask my bible study women to pray also. We see and hear of miraculous healings and other answers to our prayers frequently. I want to relate this story of my husband. He had a colonscopy about a year ago. It was found he had a very large polyp. The doctor removed as much as he could that day, but, told us he wasn't able to remove all of it because of the problem of excess bleeding. So, another colonscopy was scheduled. The doctor came to report to us after the procedure that there was no more of the polyp to remove. He told us the only thing remarkable that he saw was scar tissue right where the polyp had been. The doctor had also made us aware that if he wasn't able to remove all of it the 2nd time, surgery would be required. Our prayer was that the polyp could all be removed so he didn't have to have anesthetic and surgery (he has stage 3 COPD). God answered our prayer and He even went further. We feel a miracle had occurred. The doctor reiterated again to us that all he could see was the scar tissue where the polyp had been. The doctor was as amazed as we were. He had no explanation. David and I looked at each other knowing a miracle had been offered to both of us. God is always well able, when we offer our prayer to Him and stand in faith. I think we often put our trust in doctors when we should put our trust in The Great Physician. We are so very grateful. Amen and Amen. Again, we will begin our prayers for Betty and stand in faith and expectancy. Love, Ruth
Posted by: Ruth at August 29, 2012 2:25 PMThank you for your prayers for Betty. She had another test and I don't know the results yet. I know she was scared when she went into the hospital to have a cyst removed. The news about the possible cance must have been awful for her.
