In memory of my husband, Ted whose birthday was today. I miss him so much. I can't comprehend what happened to him. He was so strong, healthy, and vibrant.
News from the Vorlon Wife.
Karol, I am so deeply saddened for you this day. You two had a wonderful friendship, as well as a wonderful marriage. I can't imagine that he was called home at such a young age. And, as you said, he was strong, hale and hearty and didn't have bad habits. We can only wonder why he had cancer. My heart is with you this day dear friend.
My husband had to be taken in an ambulance to the hospital this aftenoon. He has severe COPD, with great damage to both lungs. Just the minute he begins to feel badly, we now understand that whether it starts as a sinus infection, or even a runny nose, he is most likely going to have to go to the hospital. He has stage 3 Emphysema, with nowhere to go but to Stage 4. The long-range outlook isn't great by any means. I'm thankful he is in the hospital because he gets worse in the evening and the nightimes are frightening for both of us. We are feeling he is going to need to have oxygen at home. I so miss him when we're not together, which gives me the very slightest understanding of how incomplete you are now without your beloved husband. My heart aches for you this day. Loving you, Ruth
I understand also Karol, First Ted Jr. then Kathy and then Ted Sr. All with cancer and a different one at that. I don't understand and pray that God will not keep me here too long. I do thank God for Tom. Don't know what I would have done without him. He has been a blessing to me.
That is a good picture of Ted. I put a bouquet of yellow flowers on the church altar Sunday in his memory as yellow was his favorite.
Love, Mother
