I remember that photo. You both looked so happy. Happy Anniversary.

May is the month of memories.. The 1st would have been our 70th Anniversary and the 23rd Dad's 92th birthday.

WE have been having quite a bit of rain lately and yesterday there were 6 tornados near Flint which is near the thumb of Michigan.

My Rhododendrons are in full bloom and the peonies full bud.
Am hoping to have many more flowers this year.

You and Ted were so beautiful together. I'm going to wish you a Happy Anniversary too, as Ted's mother did. I'm sure Ted looked down at you on this day to let you know how much that day means to him too.

We're having HOT weather now and we're having to be alert to weather warnings. I was reading in the paper last evening that all Smart Phones will receive a message when the weather is severe in the area where a person lives. I think that sounds like a great idea. It's a short message, but advises a person to take cover or be prepared for severe storms or flooding or whatever the crisis might be. It could be the difference between life and death in certain circumstances. That would be wonderful!! Maybe we should get a smartphone. The problem being the phone is much smarter than we are and we'd probably never have it set right to receive the alerts. Just one of the many electronic gadgets that we don't understand. Too much for us old dogs!!

It's always good news when a bible study class has to find a bigger room because the class has so many attending. Our bible study is beginning a new study next week called "Breaking Free". It sounds interesting and I'm anxious to get started.
