I woke up at 6 am and it was 60 degrees and raining. The weather channel said there was a wind chill advisory in effect. Duh! The temp dropped 15 degrees by 7am and it headed down to 7 overnight. Good Grief!
I planned on putting my Christmas decorations away today but the containers are in the shed and its pouring down rain. I put the train away; I store it under the bed in the yellow room. I unplugged the outdoor lights and unplugged the timer for the fiber optic tree in the bedroom window. I gathered up the kitchen linens to go in the wash and that's about all I can do until it dries out. Then it will be too cold to go to the shed.
I went to the church to take care of the deposit from yesterday and couldn't find anything for the 9am service. I thought maybe someone took it to the bank. They had the 11 am service and ran around looking for the other one. '
Back to the church I went and found that the deposit was put in the old safe and not the new one. Great. I had to go home and get the key. I took it off my key chain when I got my new car. I figured I didn't need it anymore. It's a good thing I didn't toss it.
It will be back to the church later to do the deposit and take it to the bank.
