I went to church a little early this morning. I needed to print out a couple songs for the contemporary service. I practiced with the choir and went to the 9am service. I asked Cindy to switch services with me for counting the offering so I could practice with the Praise Band since I was unable to practice with them on Tuesday.
The Contemporary Service at 11am went well and counting the offering went quickly as everyone went home afterward. We had no interruptions as we do at 9am. It can be a mad house. People run in and out of the office using the copy machine or computer. Some need help so we have to stop what we're doing and lend the a hand. People bring in more money after we have counted it and it can be annoying but we don't turn money away. We need all we can get.
I took Sparky out when I got home then got some lunch of bacon and french toast. Sparky liked his little treats of real bacon. He liked the french toast, too. I gave him a few bites without the maple syrup on it although he would have enjoyed that.
