We had quite a storm yesterday. A foot of snow was dumped on the area. It was a pain getting myself and Sparky bundled up to go out and then trying to shake off the snow so it wouldn't track into the house. I had to get Sparky dried off and get the snowball out of his fur. I put his sweater under his coat. The sweater helps keep the fur on his chest and tummy dry while the coat holds his heat in.
Getting my Sorrel Boots on and off is a major chore. I wore my down storm coat, my ski powder pants and my baklava this morning. I was 2 degrees but wasn't bad as the wind had not picked up yet.
The kids have another day off because of the snow and cold. They had off Monday for Martin Luther King Day, yesterday because of the snow and again today. They had a five day weekend. It's supposed to snow again tomorrow.
