At first glance, the thermometer looks broken. I was 1 degree when I took Sparky out. The sun was not up yet. Now, it is minus 2. It's a funny phenomiinim when the sun comes up during cold days, the temp. drops. When we lived in New England, Ted would go out jogging in the morning. If it was below zero, he wouldn't go. Many a day, he went out when the temp was zero only to find it had dropped to 5 below when he got back.
I get exhausted just bundling up me and Sparky before we even get out the door. Putting on and taking off my Canadian boots is a major chore.
I have a busy day ahead. I don't know if I will go to exercise class this morning or not. I still have to take Sparky out for his walk. He looks impatient to go out. I had to drag him back in earlier. He wants to walk around the back yard but the snow is too deep and I don't feel like drying him off when we get back in. I try to keep him on the road and on the walk where I have shoveled. Maybe I'll get a kid to shovel my front walk and a path around the back of the house.
Tonight, I have a finance meeting at 4;30 and the have scheduled band practice for tonight at 6pm with choir at 7:00. I don't know when I'm supposed to eat my dinner. I don't know if I'll be able to make band practice because of the finance meeting. We'll see what happens.
