I went out early to do some shopping. The snow wasn't supposed to start until noon. I came out of Home Depot and the snow had started at 10am. I went into the Dollar Tree and when I came out, I had an inch of snow on my car. As soon as I brushed it off, it piled up again. I quickly ran into Rite Aid and headed home. It looked like a blizzard. I had to stay on the main roads as the back roads are still bad from the last storm.
When I got home, I took Sparky out and made some lunch. I planned to plop down on the sofa and stay there until Band practice at 4pm. My niece texted me and ask if I wanted to go sledding. OK, I replied. I bought a new slider two years ago and hadn't had a chance to use it. I met them at the church so they could just drop me off there for Band practice when we got done. We didn't plan on staying long so I figured we'd get back in time but we got some dinner afterward. I made it back for band in time for the last song and we went over a song I didn't know. It worked out fine.
