I sang in the choir at the 9am service and then was able to practice with the praise band afterward. I sang the the Contemporary Service at 11am. The couple who was stranded in Chesapeake City attended. Though they claim not to be Christians, they were in awe of the love that poured out from our church and community. They said they will be leaving 5:30 am tomorrow.
It was great to see the grass and have the snow melted away from the driveway and patio. I see buds on the snowdrops. It was 60 degrees this afternoon. It will be short-lived as it's going down to 16 on Tuesday. We enjoy it while we can.
I took a container of Christmas flower decorations to the shed. It had a large pile of snow/ice piled in front of it. It was good to get it out of the kitchen.
My neighbor, Rex was sitting on his deck. He is running for county council and asked me to endorse him as a candidate by signing some paperwork. He also gave me the name and number of his dog groomer. He has a cute little dog named Barley. I think he is a Cairn Terrier. He and Sparky are friends. Barley whines when he sees Sparky and wants to greet him. He was also Danny Boy's friend.
I picked up some branches that came down with the storms.
My lunch and dinner were left over stuffed cabbage casserole from the lunch at the church yesterday. They had a lot left over and gave me a huge container to take home. I help out with the Kanal Kitchen. Once a month, we serve lunch for the homeless people and others in the community.
Still tired out from the stress and zumba workout so I rested the rest of the day.
News from the Vorlon Wife.
