I went to my brother-in-laws wedding last Saturday. It was a lovely wedding in Michigan. I stayed with Ted's mother for a few days. I enjoyed visiting with her. In some ways, it was sad. So many of Ted's family have passed away and there is a great void for us. I will post more later. I have to catch up on things here. Wash to do and I have to go to the church office and see what bills need to be paid.
News from the Vorlon Wife.
Posted by tedkarol at May 7, 2014 7:59 AMThanks for sharing the news of Ned's wedding. I have never seen him and Phylis had mentioned the wedding, so thanks for sharing that. Glad the children were all okay with the wedding. I would love to see more wedding pictures if that is possible for you to do. Thanks very much if this is possible. Karol.
Wish we could have gotten together while you were in MI; however my husband has taken a downward turn in his COPD battle and I have had to take on many more responsibilities. He was recently discharged from the hospital from an 8 day stay and he is not regaining his strength. He is very weak. I'm not really (health-wise) up to all of this, so we're trying to figure out things as we go. Our sons have been wonderful to help, but, as you know, there are always things that we just have to do. We are having a ramp built and we've hired a person to care for the lawn already. One doesn't always realize how much it takes to care for a home and outside surroundings. In the Holy Bible, God tells us over and over "Not to Fear". so I'm trying "not to fear". You've faced all of this Karol, as has your dear mother-in-law Phylis. I hope I can do as well as you two do each day. I so wish I was healthier so I had the strength and energy to handle all of this. I shall trust in the Lord with all my heart and follow His words of hope and encouragement.
We're finally enjoying some nice warm days, but, it still isn't exactly as a MI spring normally is. However, there will be NO complaining because the snow is gone and we all began to doubt if that would ever be so. Sunshine and flowers are beginning to abound. Praise the Lord!! Love, Ruth
