The Presbyterian Church is having a cookie sale today starting at 9am. I want to get there early to get the best choice. I don't do much baking since I'm alone. I also don't need the calories. I want to give them as gifts to some of my neighbors. Robin, next door, who dog sits for me; Alice, my friend who lives down the street, and just had back surgery; and Juan, who lives next to Alice, my landscaper and handy man. Us widows and older ladies don't know what we would do without Juan. He and his wife, Deloris,are well known in Chesapeake City.
Tonight is the Candlelight House Tour in Chesapeake City. The houses are all decorated for Christmas. I will be helping to greet people at the Church. The choir used to sing other years but I think the Bell Choir is performing tonight.

Posted by tedkarol at December 12, 2015 5:43 AMIt's been years but we used to do the Mauricetown Christmas House tour. Loved it. The local fire company would have a soup and sandwich dinner. Nice when towns do that. Have a great time at yours.
