Sales and marketing are two areas of study that have always interested me.  Not that I am any good at them.

For sales, I feel Sharon Drew Morgan's Buying Facilitation is about as on the mark as is out there.  My problem is, I find it incredibly difficult to implement - but I keep trying.  I would highly recommend visiting her site and at least subscribing to her monthly newsletter.  After all, it's free.

For marketing, I just joined Business Networking International.  It's an organization that gets business people together to trade referrals.  The cost is less than a yellow pages ad.  Here's an MP3 that explains it better than I can.  It's a little over 3MB and runs about 30 minutes.

I am cautiously optimistic about BNI generating new sales.
